Pack your cupboard with some spices!

Hi Everyone,

I know I said next post we'd talk about protein, but let's talk about spices and THEN we'll talk about protein in the next post-to be coming within just a couple of days. Make sure you have a lot of spices to choose from. When cooking vegetarian, you can play around and try different combinations to keep it interesting and lively. So other than salt, pepper, cane sugar, oregano and basil, what else do you have in your cupboard?

Try to stock up on some of these:
dill
curry powder
Tarragon leaves
Cumin seeds AND powder
mustard seeds
cardamom
coriander
turmeric
rosemary
thyme
basil
fenugreek
cinnamon

And there are so many other spices and other additions like vegetable bouillon, cooking yeast and more goodies that we will go into in our next post.
One of the best ways to learn to cook more healthily and to add vegetarian to your diet is to GO SHOPPING and STOCK UP you cupboard so you have plenty to play with.

See you next time!
