More about Protein!


It's interesting I was just talking about how we eat too much protein in a previous post and now there has been a study released on the subject regarding obesity. It's all from the scientific prospective which is just fine. With Eastern Wellness and philosophy in mind, I am more from the school of listening to your body and mind when it comes to your health. However, it is helpful to know some facts when you embark on a self journey of health improvement. Though America has the highest rate of obesity in the world, everyone could use some knowledge on their diet! The point that I am frequently trying to make is that we don't need to eat the amount of animal products that we do to obtain vast amounts of protein that we think we need! The study says that it's the calories that make someone fat and not the protein, but either way it supports my point.
